Coconut Creek joined with the city of Margate (our next door neighbor) in 2000 to provide fire-rescue services to both communities, covering a combined population of more than 90,000 residents over 23 square miles.

Fire Rescue Patch Coconut Creek's Fire Administration handles fire prevention activities, inspections and safety information for Coconut Creek residents, and Margate Fire/Rescue provides emergency fire and rescue response to both our City and Margate.

Margate - Coconut Creek Fire Rescue has four stations, one ladder company, three engine companies, five full-time rescue units and a dive rescue team for water emergencies in area canals, lakes and waterways.
