Creek Fit's Couch to 5K 2024

  • Creek Fit’s Couch to 5K is a training program designed to prepare participants for the upcoming Coconut Creek 5K Butterfly Run 
    • Each participant is recommended to complete three runs per week, leaving at least one day to rest in between each training day
    • First 25 to sign up will receive a goody bag which will include a Creek Fit’s Couch to 5K tee shirt
  • All ages welcome
    • Ages 12 to 14 must be accompanied by a participating parent or legal guardian
  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
    • Monday, December 2nd, through Friday, January 24th
  • Mondays, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
    • Train with Fitness Staff
      • Held at the outdoor track behind the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
        • In the event of inclement weather, training will be held in the gymnasium of the Recreation Complex
    • Q&A’s and updates
      • Provide running log information
  • Wednesdays and Fridays
    • Train independently using the supplied training program for that day
      • Track and log your distance 
  • $10 per participant for both Coconut Creek residents and non-residents
    • Credit card payment only
    • Free for those who register for the 2025 Coconut Creek 5K Butterfly Run
      • 2025 Coconut Creek 5K Butterfly Run Fees are as follows:
        • $15 for ages 17 and younger; $30 for ages 18 and older
  • Registration Details:
    • Registration opens Monday, November 4th
      • Register at Creek Fit North, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard
        • In-person registration only; no online registration available
    • All participants must sign a waiver
      • Ages 12 to 17 years must also have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver in order to participate
