Holocaust Remembrance

Thank you for attending this event.

January 27th is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, and 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the largest Nazi concentration camp.

In recognition and remembrance of this, the City is holding 2 special events that day – Monday, January 27. At 6pm, we are hosting a one-hour evening session to talk about the Holocaust. We will have speakers there who were impacted directly by the Holocaust.

We are also honored to be hosting the Hate Ends Now travelling Holocaust exhibit. It consists of Holocaust artifacts and a replica of a WW2 era cattle car, like the ones used to transport Jews and other targeted groups to concentration and death camps.

Experience an evening of profound introspection as special guests share their compelling stories. All ages are invited. Don't miss this chance to gain insights into history and honor the strength of those who have overcome profound challenges.
