What is Teen Political Forum?
Students from each of our Coconut Creek high schools work together to design and moderate a public event to be held in April. Building upon their academic achievements, students further develope their leadership, collaboration, public speaking, writing, marketing, and time management skills through their involvement in this program. While the students earn community service hours, the Coconut Creek Teen Political Forum provides an invaluable introduction and platform to be heard by their state and local government officials.
Some of the responsibilities of the forum include: meeting regularly at the City of Coconut Creek Government Center located at 4800 West Copans Road, engaging with fellow students, attending brainstorming sessions, conceptualizing, planning and organizing events and meetings, marketing, taking and editing photos and video, managing documents and assets, planning and scheduling social media outlets, posting, writing, managing people and crowds, communicating, decorating, selling, and more.
