The City of Coconut Creek is committed to Recycling Right. Market conditions recently changed for recycled materials worldwide and the City was experiencing an unacceptable level of contamination in single stream materials. This forced the City to suspend single family recycling curb-side pick up. Recognizing the public's desire to recycle, we have opened a Recycling Drop-off Center just east of City Hall which is available to both residents and businesses. This webpage is designed to showcase those that are making a great effort to recycle and inspire all of us to do better.

Recycling is Part of a Thriving Community

Coconut Creek is tracking the use of the Drop-Off Center, including the number of participants and the type and volume of material. Participation is steadily increasing.

The Recycling Participation Table above shows the number of times each resident visited the Drop-Off Center during the fiscal fourth quarter (July - September 2021). The vast majority of people came to the Recycling Drop-off Center two to four times which equates to most people coming by at least once a month.

As you can see from the charts below, the amount of material recycled each month is increasing. Let's keep it up!
